Good question!

Last week I sat through a full-day online class to earn some professional development credits. The class was dull, as most PD classes tend to be, so during one of its many lulls, I scribbled a 5-by-5 tile in my notebook and started making a Reading Bingo for 2026.

So, to answer the question, I don’t have specific books in mind, but I do want to read more works from outside North America and of different genres.

Multiple tiles of my bingo have to do with the authors’ nationalities, but I swear I’m not trying to be tokenistic here — I just want to be more intentional in reading new (to me) writers and diversifying my Read shelf.

Also, I considered including a tile for “Poetry Collection” but I realized I rarely read poetry books cover-to-cover. Huh.
