AFTER ENJOYING a couple weeks of blue skies and warm winds, the city is now once again draped in snow. The skiers and snowboarders must be feeling so excited about all this fresh powder — but normies like me? Nah.
Though instead of feeling dejected by winter’s return, I choose to welcome it with indifference. Snow will fall just the same regardless of how I feel about it so I’ll just let it be.
Anyway, let’s do a checkpoint.
A moment
This morning, I woke up to the alarm clock’s simulated sunlight. My groggy brain mistook it for real daylight, and for a second I was happy that the sun had risen before I got to go to work. Nope. Unfortunately I got duped.
A thought
The weather forecast says it’s gonna feel like -37C tomorrow. Ain’t that nasty?
A feeling
I just took a hot shower and now I’m wearing matching pajamas. I feel cozy.
A sign
My eyelids feel heavy, which is a sign that I need to head to bed soon lol.
A concern
The weather tomorrow is a bit…ugh. But it’s fine. I’ll be fine.
A comfort
The weather’s gonna get better next week so, woot!
A plan
Gear up good, or…
A question
…should I just ask my boss if I could work from home instead? Mmm.
