Se7en Things

Earlier I worked on a lab report for AI and another lab report for DIP. Tonight I plan to work on yet another lab shit for Machines, write some content for a raket, and review my notes for complex variable math — ang sipag lang e, ‘no?

The reason why I’m grinding through all this acads shit is because I have an upcoming electromagnetics exam next Tuesday. I’m currently on bagsak standing for EM so acing the next exam is crucial if I want to pass the class. Bakit ba kasi ang hirap-hirap ng EM??

Anyway, I’ll worry about that later and focus on the tasks at hand for now (naaaks). I also wanted to briefly get my mind off of school stuff — briefly lang naman — and so I did this Seven Things tag that I got from a former colleague’s blog. Fun-fun lang. πŸ˜€

Seven things I want to do before I die:

1. Become an engineer (huhuhuhuhuhuhuhu)
2. Have straight teeth
3. Make a zine (haha)
4. Bring my parents to Europe
5. Write a song

2. Sing well
3. Split (‘yung ginagawa ni Mystica)
4. Crack an egg with one hand
5. Read the entirety of War & Peace
6. Travel in time
7. Write good poems

Seven things that attract me to both a boy and a girl:

1. If they play the guitar
2. If they’re not matapobre
3. If they read books / articles / newspapers (basta nagbabasa!)
4. If they have the same sense of humor as I
5. If they’re into music but are not snooty about it (or pwede ring snooty pero amin-amin lang haha)
6. If they understand that social inequality is a thing and that dissent is necessary
7. If they’re kind to other people without expecting anything in return

Seven things that I say most often:

1. Sorry
2. I don’t know
3. Maybe
4. No idea
5. Dope
6. Cool
7. Sure

Seven books I love to read:

1. Joan Didion
2. Arundhati Roy
3. Benilda Santos
4. Gabriel Garcia Marquez
5. Mookie Katigbak-Lacuesta (I’m sorry!!!)
6. Haruki Murakami (but I think short stories > novels)
7. Sylvia Plath

Seven movies I could watch over and over again:

1. 500 Days of Summer
2. X-Men
3. Chungking Express
4. That Thing Called Tadhana
5. Don’t Give Up On Us
6. 500 Days of Summer
7. 500 Days of Summer

Seven people I’m tagging to do this survey:
(no pressure though!)

1. Isla of Si Isles
2. Grace of Of This and That and Everything in Between
3. Jerace of Collected Thoughts
4. Mochichi of Fly and Levitate
5. rAdishhorse of breedinglikelarva
6. Joana of Gigantic Thought Bubble
7. twstrfries of twstrfries and good vibes

I finished answering the tag sometime this afternoon. Between then and now I was able to cook adobo for supper, write a raket piece that was due two hours ago, and finish my Machines lab report. It’s now past 1am and I think it’s time to call it a day. Kapuy!

Clearly I don’t have the time to draw a new sketch for the featured image — I guess this is a good excuse to post a selfie, ‘no?

[sorry I had to remove it]

Charot, masyado yata akong chummy today. In any case, I hope you, dear stranger, are having a good day. ❀

Andaming relatable things! I’d love to watch a football match (AC Milan vs Inter, if possible. Hello, Derby della Madonnina. El Clasico will be awesome, too. And yes, how amazing it would be to witness the Azkals qualifying for the FIFA World Cup finals. Argh, we can dream.

Same rin tayo re War and Peace. It’s such a daunting task, but not for the lack of motivation and trying. Wala lang talagang time. Tolstoy is not someone I can read to pass the time. Dapat super focused ako. Huhu.

I love people who read, too. ❀

This is such a nice tag. I’d love to borrow this if I ever get back to posting again.

P.S. It’s good to see the face behind this blog. May you ace that exam, Jolens. πŸ™‚

Grabe, super dream ko ‘yang El Clasico! At siyempre ‘yung Azkals sa World Cup! Migahd kebs lang kahit matambakan tayo like 10-0 basta join tayo sa finals hahaha.

Ako rin, Tolstoy has never been a “fun” read for me. Pero among the Russians pinakanahirapan ako kay Dostoevsky. πŸ˜…

Please do this tag, too! Fun siya gawin hehehe. πŸ™‚

I feel you! I don’t care kung sa Santiago Bernabeu siya or Camp Nou basta El Clasico. Pero sana we can watch before Messi retires. And yes, yes. Kahit na tambak tayo sa goals at hanggang first round lang tayo. Huhu.
Haha! Really, bakit? I find Tolstoy more tedious although I love him to bits. Rambling kasi siya masyado. Mas marami pa akong natapos na books ni Dostoevsky. πŸ˜€
I will, I will. Will find the time na talaga. πŸ™‚

Oo nga, huhu. I was hoping I could save enough money for the next World Cup (I think that would be the last World Cup for Messi) pero I’m also torn kasi it’s in Qatar. Bakit ba kasi sa Qatar?? Grabe ‘yung virtual slavery na nagaganap d’un e huhu.

Punta tayo Spain one day Mitch! Nood tayo Clasico tapos daan na rin tayong Italy for a Milan match! Taraaaa! Hahaha parang dalawang traysikel lang ang layo ‘no? πŸ˜‚

Ewan ko rin, pero I remember nahirapan talaga akong basahin ang The Brothers Karamazov pero not as much sa Anna Karenina. Wala na akong nababasang Russian recently. After this semester I’ll try re-reading them. Sana, hehe.

Go naaa Mitch! Sulat naaaaa! πŸ™‚
