Some nights I wish I lived right at the heart of a warm city with a 24/7 coffee shop in which I could easily meet someone who’d be willing to keep me company at 3 in the morning while both of us struggle to sleep — too bad my life isn’t a mumblecore movie, ‘no?
I’ve tried melatonin pills, chamomile tea, mindful meditation — wala talaga e. I just can’t sleep, or at least not during the normal hours when most people go to sleep. Nakakabaliw!
Anyway, it’s currently past 3 in the morning and I don’t think I will be sleeping anytime soon so I might as well do this tag that I found on tumblr. Not as exciting as meeting the love of my life and walking along the streets of a city in slumber but, yeah, this will do.

Kasama ‘to ng Budots (altho may credited DJ yata ‘tong Budots at di ko alam kung nagbayad ba si Bong ng royalty) na pinasikat lang ng mga DJ at pinirata para patugtugin sa mga mobile disco tuwing may Fiesta. Katulad din ito nung mga non-stop 60’s/70s hits na tapes na cover ng mga popular songs/hits (like Beatles) na kinover ng mga unknown unsigned band/combos/singers na pinapatugtog sa jeep at buses dati at haba na ng comment ko pwede ko na siyang gawing post sa blog ko haha

Yes to so many of these songs/albums! ❤ Feeling ko In the Aeroplane Over the Sea was one of the cheeriest of the songs in that NMH album. I have to look at the OPM bands in your list 🙂

‘Yung ‘Nakauwi Na’, ewan ko ba, it’s the one Shirley hit I can’t seem to love as much as everyone else. Para bang, it’s just a bit too cheesy for me, without having any of the other balancing qualities I’d like to have in a song.

Alam mo ate, sobrang gusto ko na rin mag-take ng sleeping pills kasi as in ang normal tulog ko 3-5 am na everyday, medyo nabobother na ‘ko 😦 Huhu kaso natatakot ako baka may side effects s’ya??
Anyway ang cute ng taste mo sa music! Natawa lang ako slight kasi parang.. indie indie indie biglang boom james reid! Hahaha

Jolz, (gusto mo yung Z yung S haha lalang) may ganyang phase ako. Usually nagpi-play ako ng podcast pero hindi talaga ‘yung pampatulog. Madalas ‘yung mga podcast na napakinggan ko na para ‘di ko na kailangan mag-isip, haha. Try ko ‘yung essential oils next time!
