I’m saving up, yes, but not for anything specific. I just want to have some yay amount of money by mid-year.

Um, neither? I don’t think I will ever put photos up on my wall. Painting siguro, pwede pa.

Cheesecake is good. I like strawberry shortcake, too.

Yea, I’ve been driving for a long time now. I’m okay at it. Not good, not bad. Just okay.

With people. I prefer living alone though, haha.

Name something you thought was cool when you were younger but don’t now.

When I was younger, I thought it was cool to be average. Not excellent, not perfect. Average. I didn’t want to be one of those kids who tried too hard to get good grades or who worked too hard to be the best at something. I thought being average was good enough, and I thought it was cool because being average — and being okay about being average — proved that you couldn’t care less about arbitrary standards.

I mean, I had a point, didn’t I? Hehe. I’m still okay about being average now, but I no longer think it’s necessarily “cool” to be one.

How long does it usually take you to get to sleep?

Depends how tired I am.

I think whiteboards are cheaper?

Mostly stories, poems, and links to articles and websites that I find interesting. The ones that are up on the shortcuts bar right now are for two short stories — “How to Become a Writer” by Lorrie Moore and “Girls, At Play” by Celeste Ng — and links to the Smithsonian Open Access and a random “sounds of forest” generator that I learned about through Ena.

Are / were you spoilt? Would others agree or disagree with you?

Nope. My parents are too poor and too busy to spoil any of us kids.

A sweater, a pair of shorts, a scarf.

What was the last book you read?

The last book was Tell the Machine Goodnight by Katie Williams, but I also just finished reading a collection of short stories written by a CW grad student for her thesis. Good shit, hehe.
