Have you seen the film Ang Manananggal sa Unit 23B? There’s a scene in that movie in which the manananggal forgets to take her anti-transformation potion — or at least that’s what I think happens — then she starts screaming and writhing in pain as her body splits in half. That’s pretty accurate, man. That’s how I am when I’m suffering through intense period cramps.

What’s one weird habit you have?

Okay, I got one. You know how Skyflakes crackers are divided into smaller, uh, segments? Like if you look at one cracker, you will see two sets of dashed lines that neatly divide the cracker into three equal and smaller pieces? You see what I’m talking about?

Anyway, the weird habit is, I always, always have to break a cracker along those dashed lines, then break the 1/3 piece further in half before I put the 1/6 nub in my mouth. That’s how I eat Skyflakes. I don’t think I have ever taken a bite off of one cracker sheet and just held the rest of it in my hand. I think that is weird.

Sometimes, yeah.

I used to when I was younger. Actually my previous diaries had names. I had a diary named Kitty long before I learned about Anne Frank, and I also once kept a diary addressed to my childhood crush Vic Zhou. Instead of writing “dear diary” I wrote “dear Vic” hehehe.

When was the last time you wrote and sent someone a letter?

I wrote a friend a letter a few weeks back.
