Last week was wild.

Hours before a former Filipino president got arrested, one of my group chats went nuclear. Someone spilled the tea about the arrest before the news even broke, and it was scalding. Here’s to hoping that tea isn’t the only thing that gets served. Woot!

Meanwhile, in Canada, we got ourselves a shiny new prime minister. His first grand act was axing the consumer carbon tax — emphasis on consumer, because industries still have to pay up. Nobody truly knows how this is gonna play out, but we all know that extra charges on corporations eventually trickle down. I’m not an economist though, so imma just kibit my balikat.

Speaking of questionable decisions: I exfoliated and used retinol in the same night last week. My face still feels like sandpaper on fire to this day. Ugh.
